China Association for Science and Technology "One Belt One Road" International Science and Technology Organization Platform Construction Project China-Europe Science and Technology Innovation and Development Research Center was inaugurated in Shenzhen
On October 16, 2021, with the support of the China Association for Science and Technology "One Belt One Road" International Science and Technology Organization Platform Construction Project and the National Society Open Cooperation Demonstration Project, it was jointly established by the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, the University of Luxembourg and the University of Tampere, Finland The establishment and unveiling ceremony of the "China-Europe Science and Technology Innovation and Development Research Center" was held at Shenzhen University (Lihu Campus). Mu Rongping, Chairman of the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy, attended and delivered a speech. Professor Cai Yuzhuo, Director of International Affairs of the University of Luxembourg, Sylvain ST-AMAND, and Professor Cai Yuzhuo of the University of Tampere, Finland, delivered a video speech to express his warm congratulations on the establishment of the China-Europe Science and Technology Innovation and Development Research Center. The meeting was presided over by Chen Guang, Secretary General of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association.
Chairman Mu Rongping first extended a warm welcome to all the leaders and guests who came from afar, and then introduced the basic situation of international cooperation and exchanges of the Research Association. He stressed that in the final analysis, state-to-state relations are people-to-people relations, and scientific and technological cooperation can well enhance mutual trust and understanding. In the future, our vision will be broader, and we will achieve common progress through mutual learning and mutual learning. As participants in the "center", they were very proud and regretted that they were unable to participate in the unveiling in person. In the future, the University of Luxembourg and the University of Tampere will actively participate in the work of the "center" and jointly build the "center" into a world-class academic platform.
