The First Symposium on "Standardization Theory and Policy" Held Successfully

This seminar is"Grasp the Opportunities in the Digital Economy Era and Talk about the New Trend of Standardization Research"This paper discusses the status and role of standardization in the digital economy, the development trend of standard digitization, the interaction mechanism between standards and innovation, and the standardization policy of digital economy. The aim is to analyze the theories, methods and paths of standardization to promote the development of digital economy through interdisciplinary cross-vision, and to explore how to apply these theories to the frontier issues of digital economy development and serve the major national development strategy in the new era. The conference was conducted by online live broadcast, and nearly 1,000 domestic and foreign experts and scholars participated in the discussion and exchange.
At the opening ceremony of the meeting, researcher Mu Rongping, chairman of the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, and Professor Song Mingshun, former president of China Metrology University, made opening speeches respectively. Professor Le Wei, dean of the School of Economics and Management of China Metrology University, presided over the meeting. The conference specially invited Academician Wu Hequan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor Knut Blind of the Fraunhofer Institute of Systems and Innovation in Germany to give a special report, and invited the Institute of Strategic Consulting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Jilin University, Hunan University, China Institute of Standardization, etc. Many well-known scholars and experts from universities and research institutions gave keynote reports and exchanges.

Researcher Yu Jiang of the Institute of Science and Technology Strategy Consulting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Wang Yiyi of the Chinese Institute of Standardization, Professor Liang Zheng of Tsinghua University and Professor Zhou Lijun of the School of Economics and Management of China Jiliang University"Standards lead the development of the digital economy"The topics made special speeches respectively, discussing the relationship between standards and innovation in the context of digitalization, the path and development trend of digital transformation of standards, the role of standardization in artificial intelligence governance, and the driving effect of standardization on technological innovation in the mobile communication industry. Professor Jiang Hong of Jilin University, Professor Zhou Qing of Hangzhou Dianzi University, Professor Fang Fang of Hunan University and Professor Cui Weijun of Nanjing University of Information Technology"Standardization and Innovation in the Digital Economy Era"The topics were presented separately, and the theories, methods and paths of standardization to promote the development of the digital economy were analyzed in depth from the dimensions of the governance of the technical standards alliance and the international experience of standardization.
Finally, researcher Chen Guang, secretary general of the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy, delivered a closing speech, announcing the successful conclusion of the seminar. This seminar has set up a communication platform for "industry-university-research-application" and a communication platform for "domestic and international integration research" in the field of standardization, and has taken a key step in building a "standardization academic community". It is expected to make positive contributions to the development of China's standardization cause.
