INORMS International Conference Notice 2021

1. Conference Background and Introduction

INORMS(International Network of Research Management Societies) is an international organization composed of scientific research management associations and groups around the world. Through the exchange of information, national organizations promote the internationalization of scientific research management knowledge systems, share best practice cases and cooperate with each other to promote the development of scientific research management in various countries. The China Association for Science and Technology Policy joined INORMS in June 2019.

Since 2006, INORMS has held an international congress every two years. Given the COVID-19 situation, the conference will be held online for the health and safety of all. All pre-recorded conference footage will be available on demand from 24 May to 30 June. The INORMS 2021 will provide opportunities for scientific research managers around the world to communicate, discuss scientific research management issues, and improve their professional knowledge; the conference will also bring new knowledge about scientific research management and scientific and technological innovation from an international perspective, as well as opportunities for international cooperation.

2. Conference Themes

The theme of this year's conference is "Promoting Diversity in Scientific Research and Scientific Research Management Cooperation: More Transnational, Interdisciplinary, and Cross-Industry Cooperation". At the same time, the following five topics were established:
