The 17th China Science and Technology Policy and Management Academic Conference and Research Council will be held in Shenzhen University (Lihu Campus) from October 16 to 18, 2021. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy, hosted by Shenzhen University, and co-organized by the editorial departments of Science Research, Scientific Research Management, Science and Science and Technology Management, and Innovation and Development Policy.

Professor Fang Xin, honorary chairman of the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, served as the chairman of this annual meeting, and Professor Mu Rongping, chairman of the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, served as the chairman of the academic committee of the conference.

This conference will openly solicit participating papers. The outstanding papers will be issued by the society and recommend to "Science Research", "Scientific Research Management" and "Science and Science and Technology Management" for publication in accordance with the subject and journal requirements. At the same time, English contributions are welcome, and papers accepted for the conference will be recommend to Innovation and Development Policy (http://idp.casisd.cn/) for publication. In order to expand the influence of the results of the conference, this conference intends to select papers with outstanding theoretical contributions and policy values, which will be included in the ''Science and Technology Innovation Theory and Policy Frontiers (tentative naming) ''compiled by the research group (signed by the author, without delaying public publication) In the book, it will be published in Science Press.
