In the new era, innovative development not only needs to find new development momentum from digital development, but also needs to find a new development model from sustainable development. At the same time, it needs to combine the development stage and development environment to find new development ideas, and there is an urgent need to study and implement innovation and transformation development (Transformative Development of Innovation, TDI). In order to promote theoretical, empirical and policy research on innovation and transformation development, and to promote exchanges between academia and policy circles, relying on the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, from the Institute of Science and Technology Strategy Consulting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the School of Public Policy and Management of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Planning and Policy Bureau of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy, the China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Tsinghua University, Queen Mary University of London, UK, "Management of Science", editorial department of "Innovation Development Policy" and other units (departments) young scholars and policy researchers co-sponsored the "Innovation Transformation Development Forum (TDI Forum, TDIF)".
The forum is held from time to time every year. It mainly focuses on the two themes of innovation digital transformation development and innovation sustainable transformation development. At the same time, it will involve the governance system and policy system of innovation transformation development. Each time focusing on an innovative transformation and development topic for in-depth discussion, the size of the participants in principle not more than 50 people. The outstanding academic achievements of the forum will be recommend to the journals participating in the initiation, and valuable policy suggestions will be submitted through the supporting units.
