According to the "China Science and Technology Policy Research Association Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Selection Method", the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association decided to carry out the 2022 China Science and Technology Policy Research Association Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Selection. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

The number of outstanding doctoral theses selected by the China Society for Science and Technology Policy in 2022 is3-5Name.

2. selection scope and criteria

According to the Measures for the Selection of Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations of the Chinese Society for Science and Science and Technology Policy, the conditions for the application of outstanding doctoral dissertations of the Chinese Society for Science and Science and Technology Policy are:

1. The participating papers shall be the dissertations of those who have obtained doctorates in the field of science and science and technology policy research in the field of science and technology policy in the past three years (calculated in advance of the deadline for application for participation in the evaluation). Dissertations that have been evaluated and failed to be selected as Yobo papers cannot be evaluated again.

2. The authors of the participating papers should be members of the Association, and the papers should be written in Chinese or English; the authors of the papers should work or study in mainland China during the review.

3. Participating papers need to meet the following criteria:

(1) The selected topic is an important practical issue that is at the forefront of research in the field of science and science and technology policy or needs to be studied urgently, and has important theoretical value and practical significance;

(2) Innovation in theory or method, new research perspectives and unique insights, and important academic results;

(3) Reflect the author's solid and broad theoretical foundation and systematic in-depth knowledge in the subject and related fields;

(4) The argument is clear, the material is full and accurate, the logic is rigorous, the text is accurate and fluent, conforms to the academic and ethical norms, and the content is not classified.

4. The author of the degree thesis voluntarily applies for participation in the evaluation, which requires the recommend of two senior experts in similar fields, at least one of whom is a director of the association or a member of the special committee, and each expert recommend at most one paper to participate in the selection.

3. Review Procedure

The selection procedure shall be handled in accordance with the Measures for the Selection of Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations of the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy.

4. Submitted Materials and Time Requirements

1. (1) Doctoral dissertation: 3 copies of real-name full-text paper version and PDF electronic version (real-name version and anonymous version);

(2) Application Form for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of China Society for Science and Technology Policy: 3 copies in paper and 3 copies in PDF electronic version. It focuses on the theoretical and methodological innovations and policy values of the dissertation, as well as its value to science and technology policy research and discipline development.

(3) Recommendation Form for Excellent Doctoral Dissertations of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association: 3 copies in paper version and PDF electronic version (the contents of the recommendation form must be consistent with those of the paper version);

(4) Achievement certification materials: 3 original or photocopies of paper version, including the full text of published or employed representative papers (no more than 5, employment certificate is required), full text of policy recommendations (instructions or adoption certificate shall be provided), award certificate and other materials. Representative academic papers should be signed first (or tied first or tutor first) or communication (or tied communication).
