Advanced Workshop on Scientific Knowledge Mapping and Scientometrics Methods and Applications (Phase III)

In order to further popularize the international frontier of scientific knowledge mapping and CiteSpace visualization technology, at the request of the majority of academic peers, scholars and students, Dalian University of Technology Network-Information-Science-Econometric Laboratory (WISE LAB) and China Science and Technology Policy.

In order to further popularize the international frontier of scientific knowledge mapping and CiteSpace visualization technology, in response to the requirements of academic peers, scholars and students, the "Advanced Workshop on Scientific Knowledge Mapping and Scientometrics Methods and Applications (Phase III)" jointly sponsored by the Network-Information-Science-Econometrics Laboratory (WISE LAB) of Dalian University of Technology and the Professional Committee of Science Theory and Discipline Construction of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association will be held in Dalian University of Technology from August 25 to August 27, 2013.

The speakers of this workshop include the inventor of CiteSpace, authoritative expert in information visualization, Dr. Chen Chaomei, chair professor of "Yangtze River Scholar" of Dalian University of Technology, and Professor Liu Zeyuan, a theoretical scholar of science in China and an advocate of scientific knowledge mapping.

According to the feedback from the previous two workshops, the third workshop mainly focused on the theory of science, scientometrics and the basic theories, methods and applications of CiteSpace, and added a case discussion link to this workshop. Colleagues are welcome to actively submit their CiteSpace works (you can also participate in this workshop without submitting works) and have face-to-face communication with Professor Chen Chaomei and the keynote teachers.

Workshop fees: 3000 yuan (including workshop materials, accommodation and other expenses); Full-time full-time students are offered a discount to 1500 yuan (student ID card must be presented at the time of registration)
