In order to better implement the innovation-driven development strategy, strengthen the public and the scientific and technological community's understanding of science and technology policies, and promote science and technology policies to play a more important role in the construction of an innovative country, it is hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology Decision Advisory Committee, and the China Association for Science and Technology Research The Science and Technology Policy Forum of the China Association for Science and Technology Annual Conference hosted by the Propaganda Department and China Science and Technology Policy Research Association is scheduled to be held in Guiyang on May 24, Guizhou.

With the theme of "innovation driven development: strategy and policy", the forum invited leaders and experts from relevant units such as the national development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of science and technology, the Chinese Association for science and technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of engineering, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and large and medium-sized enterprises to analyze the strategies and policies of innovation driven development from the regional and enterprise levels.

Main contents of the forum:

Morning: Strategic thinking on innovation-driven development. It is planned to invite the main leaders of relevant units to give keynote reports and on-site interactive exchanges on the strategic thinking of innovation-driven development.

Afternoon: Policy dialogue on innovation-driven development. It is planned to invite leaders, experts, and representatives of relevant ministries, local governments, large and medium-sized enterprises and other units to give special reports on innovation-driven development based on departmental practices, on-site dialogue, and interactive exchanges with the audience.

Venue: Conference Center of Guizhou University, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province

Meeting time: all day on May 24, 2013;

Conference fees: the forum is free of conference fees, and transportation, accommodation and meals are at your own expense.

Forum participants and registration:

1. Interested participants are requested to register before April 30. The number of participants in the forum is limited until the quota is full.

Participants: group members, directors and individual members of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association, relevant personnel of provincial and municipal science and technology departments, researchers engaged in science and technology policy and management in scientific research institutes, colleges and universities, and other members of the public.

3. Accommodation: 1. The conference provided participants with two hotels as accommodation options, namely Huaxi Guest House and Shuangxin Guest House. Participants were given priority to stay in Huaxi Guest House;
