Announcement of Candidates for the Eighth National Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology

According to the Constitution of the China Association for Science and Technology and with the agreement in principle of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, the eighth National Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology is scheduled to be held in Beijing in May 2011.

The China Association for Science and Technology has allocated two places to candidates for the Association for Science and Technology of our society.

In accordance with the requirements of the China Association for Science and Technology, on February 18, 2011, we will hold a meeting of executive directors in Beijing. Chairman Fang Xin, Vice Chairman Mu Rongping and Li Xinnan, executive directors such as Wang Chunfa, Liu Xilin and Jiang Guohua, and Secretary General Lu Jinghua attended the meeting. The meeting decided to elect Fang Xin, chairman of the society, and Mu Rongping, vice chairman of the society, as candidates for the eighth National Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology.

The list of candidates is now publicized. If you have any objection to the candidates, please contact the office of the Institute.
