From November 24 to 25, 2012, the 8th China Science and Technology Policy and Management Symposium and Cross-Strait Cooperation and Development Forum was held at South China University of Technology. More than 200 experts and scholars from the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Taiwan Jiaotong University, Taiwan Donghai University, Hong Kong Baptist University and other units gathered together to exchange and discuss the future development of China's science and technology policies and innovation strategy.
The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Mu Rongping, vice chairman of the Research Association and director of the Institute of Science and Technology Policy and Management Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Director of the Information Center of the Development Research Center of the State Council Gao Shiji, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Science and Technology Development Strategy Researcher Hu Zhijian, Director of the Management Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, attended the opening ceremony of the forum.
At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman Mu Rongping was entrusted by Chairman Fang Xin to deliver a speech. On behalf of the Research Association, he thanked the guests for their active participation and the work done by the organizer South China University of Technology for the conference. Du Xiaoming and Yang Lexun delivered speeches respectively and wished the conference a complete success. After the opening ceremony, experts such as Mu Rongping, Hu Zhijian, Gao Shiji, Zhu Guilong, Liu Ze-yuan, Chen Jin, etc. respectively gave the conference reports on the topics of China's future innovation development and scientific and technological system reform, the transformation of national innovation system, collaborative innovation development, and the development trend and frontier fields of science of science in China, after that, academic representatives from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Wuhan and Guangdong Province jointly held a dialogue on the development trend of regional innovation system, bringing a feast of ideas to the participants.
On the afternoon of November 24th and the morning of November 25th, the conference was divided into 5 forums. Participants focused on "Science and Technology System Reform and China's Science and Technology Strategy", "Collaborative Innovation and National Innovation System Construction", and "Enterprise, Industrial Innovation and Regional Innovation". "," Basic Theory and Discipline Construction of Science "," Cross-Strait Cooperation and Development "five themes were discussed in depth and lively, A total of more than 60 scholars read out their papers at the sub-forum, and the conference finally selected 9 excellent papers and awarded excellent paper certificates to the authors.
