On the morning of September 27, 2012, Professor Sui Yinghui, director of Qingdao Science and Research Management Research Association, gave a special report entitled "China's Coastal Economic Zone and Urban-Rural Integration" for the party and government cadres in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area of Hubei Province. The report comprehensively introduced the layout and development strategy of coastal economic zones, analyzed and compared the development models of Suzhou, Wuxi, Chengdu, Chongqing and Qingdao, and summarized the outstanding problems in construction and development, some suggestions are put forward to realize the integration of urban and rural areas and the coordinated development of economy and society. The report combines national strategy, planning and typical urban development cases, explains the profound and simple, integrates theory with practice, and interacts and exchanges with party and government cadres from the front line. It is welcomed by party and government cadres in Hubei Province and the Three Gorges Reservoir area.
