In order to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important expositions on strengthening the construction of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics, actively assume the new mission of China's science and technology think tanks in the new era, strive to improve the core capabilities of science and technology think tank researchers, and promote my country's high-level science and technology think tanks
Previously, we had successfully held the "Advanced Seminar on Core Competence Building of 2016 Science and Technology Think Tanks", which was highly affirmed by students from more than 30 science and technology think tanks, scientific research institutes, universities and other units across the country. "Science and Technology Daily" and "Think Tank Theory and Practice" carried out related reports, it was also included in the monthly memorabilia of think tanks in the month by Guangming Daily and was selected as the "2016 Landmark Event of China Think Tank's Self-construction" by the Research and Publishing Center of Guangming Daily Think Tank.
This year's seminar is adapting to the new situation, new tasks and new requirements of the report of the 19th CPC National Congress that "China's economy has shifted from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development" and General Secretary Xi Jinping's "think tank construction should focus on improving the quality of research and promoting content innovation, focusing on the five areas that researchers in science and technology think tanks need to focus on improving-" knowing the general trend, understanding methods, being able to write, being good at communication, and being able to spread "to design and formulate research courses, inviting scholars and experts from national high-end think tanks and well-known institutions such as the China Institute of Science and Technology Information of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Science and Technology Daily, Beijing Science Research Center, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Fudan University, in-depth explanation, interactive exchange, and to Shanghai innovation and entrepreneurship hot platform and enterprise research visit.
