Liu Ze-yuan
Liu Ze-yuan, professor and doctoral supervisor, was born in Enshi, Hubei Province in April 1940. In 1974, he began to engage in the study of dialectics of nature. After 1978, he successively engaged in philosophy of science and technology, science and technology management, science and technology and society, development strategy and scientometrics.

After 1978, he successively engaged in teaching and scientific research in philosophy of science and technology, science and technology management, science and technology and society, development strategy, scientometrics, etc. Served as deputy director and lecturer of the Dialectics of Nature Teaching and Research Section of the Department of Social Sciences of Dalian University of Technology, director and associate professor of the Department of Science, director and professor of the Institute of Science, Technology and Social Development, and the first dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Vice Chairman of the Third Council of the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy.
