The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the main social contradictions in our country have been transformed into the contradiction between the people's growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development. At present, the imbalance of regional development in our country is the concrete embodiment of this main contradiction in the spatial layout of development. To this end, the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward for the first time: the implementation of regional coordinated development strategy. This is a major improvement in my country's regional development strategy since the reform and opening up. It is a major strategy that must be adhered to in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is a major measure to resolve new major social contradictions and a major deployment to achieve the two centenary goals.
At the same time, the "19th National Symposium on Science and Technology Evaluation" was held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it was also a period when my country's science and technology evaluation reform entered the deep water zone. How to implement the "three comments"? How to develop the science and technology evaluation after "going to the four-only"? Such issues are expected to be discussed by more scholars. For this reason, the theme of the "19th National Science and Technology Evaluation Academic Symposium" is set as "Science and Technology Evaluation and Regional Coordinated Development Strategy", hoping to promote in-depth discussion and research on science and technology evaluation and regional coordinated development strategies, in order to solve my country's science and technology evaluation Reform and regional coordinated development provide theoretical and methodological support. The meeting will invite experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Fund Committee, the Academy of Military Sciences and other departments (institutions) to give special reports on the needs and practices of their departments (institutions) in science and technology assessment.

The 19th National Symposium on Science and Technology Evaluation was held in Chongqing from September 21 to 22, 2019, with a duration of 2 days. The theme of the "19th National Science and Technology Evaluation Symposium" is set as "Science and Technology Evaluation and Regional Coordinated Development Strategy". The content of the essay includes (but is not limited to): theoretical progress and practical experience in the theory and method of scientific and technological innovation evaluation, scientific and technological innovation-driven strategy and path, scientific and technological policy, regional coordinated development strategy, regional innovation and regional economic and social development evaluation and analysis, regional economic quality development comprehensive evaluation, innovation network evaluation and governance, scientific and technological talents and scientific and technological teams evaluation and governance, and innovation capability evaluation and governance of enterprises and alliances.

The essay notes are as follows:
1. Conference papers should not exceed 8000 words. Summary of 100-200 words. Each paper should have the title, author's name, unit, key words and abstract.
