In order to encourage Chinese science and technology policy scholars to devote themselves to academic research, serve social development, make outstanding achievements, and promote the development of science and technology policy research, the China Science and Technology Policy Research Association has established the "China Science and Technology Policy Research Association Lifetime Achievement Award", "China Science and Technology Policy Research Association Outstanding Contribution Award", "China Science and Technology Policy Research Association Outstanding Youth Award", as the highest honor for academic and research work in this field. From now on, the recommendation of candidates for some awards in 2019 will be started. On the basis of the recommended candidates, the award committee will select the corresponding award winners (no more than 2 outstanding contribution awards and no more than 3 outstanding youth awards), and award awards at the 15th China Science and Technology Policy and Management Annual Conference.
In order to do a good job in this recommend, we hereby notify you as follows:
1. Award Setting
The awards accepted by recommend candidates this time are "Outstanding Contribution Award of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association" and "Outstanding Youth Award of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association.
The Lifetime Achievement Award of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association is recommended by the director's office.
2. recommend mode
Each professional committee and working committee of the (I) may recommend one candidate for each award.
(II) provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) science and technology policy research associations can recommend one candidate for each award.
(III) seven directors may jointly recommend a list of candidates for the award. Each director may recommend only one candidate for each award.
(IV) recommend institutions or recommenders should independently fill in the "China Science and Technology Policy Research Association Award Recommendation" to introduce in detail and objectively evaluate the situation of the recommended person.
3. Selection Conditions
(I) "Chinese Science and Technology Policy Research Association Outstanding Contribution Award"
Candidates should be scholars who have put forward creative and influential research results in the field of science or science and technology policy research, made significant contributions to the research society, and promoted the development of the subject field. At the same time, they should be members who have joined the research society for more than one year.
(II) "Outstanding Youth Award of China Science and Technology Policy Research Association"
Candidates should be young members who have made significant contributions and achieved important results in the field of science or science and technology policy research, and have frequently participated in the activities of the research society and joined the research society for more than one year. The winner was not more than 45 years old (born after December 31, 1973).
4. relevant requirements
All recommend institutions or recommenders shall fill in the Award Recommendation Letter of the China Society for Science and Technology Policy (Annex 1) in accordance with the requirements of the recommend; summarize the recommend materials of their departments, uniformly fill in the Summary of recommend Candidates (Annex 2), and affix their official seals or signatures. All recommend departments or recommenders are requested to complete the recommend work before July 10, 2019, and submit the relevant recommend materials in duplicate and electronic version to the Secretariat.
